The Wardrobe: Thranduil, Outfit Five

Howdy, ya'll!!
I'm so glad that ya'll are enjoying my new label, The Wardrobe. Well, here's another one!
Thranduil's Outfit Number 5.
Hope ya'll enjoy.

This outfit that Thranduil wears in The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, is a more fancy over robe then the one Mr. Pace wore in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. (Outfit Two) He wears this the night before the big battle starts.

1. Robe 1. Robe 1 is the long sleeved, detailed over robe that Mr. Pace wore. It's detail is, what I believe, like another kind of tree bark.

I love how the fabric is very shimmery, and a silvery grey color.
The red fabric for the sleeves look like they are made from a velvet fabric, in a wine-red shade. It looks very comfortable to wear.

2. Robe 2: robe 2 is the same as Robe 2 of Outfit Three.

3. Accessories: The accessories are the same as the other outfits, (Outfit One, Outfit Two, Outfit Three, Outfit Four)

4. The Crown: The crown that was made for Mr. Pace in The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, is different, and more simple, then the crown that he wears in Outfit One and Four.

The crown is twisted and turned to imitate thorns, and the gem in the middle imitates a single leaf.
The thorns are a silver metal, and the leaf is made from a green crystal.

Well, this looks pretty comfortable to wear, before battling Orcs and Dwarves.

The Wardrobe: Thranduil, Outfit Four

Hey ya'll! Here's another Wardrobe post! I hope ya'll enjoy!
So this outfit is the outfit that you first see Thranduil wearing in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey prologue.
This one is a shorter post, like Outfit Two, but I hope you enjoy it!.

1. Robe 1: Robe one is a long, silver robe, with beautiful detail. It probably is the fanciest kingly robe that Mr. Lee wore in all three Hobbit movies.

The collar is high, as usual, and it has long sleeves. Of course, the robe, has a long train. :)

2. Robe 2: Robe 2 is a sleevles over robe, with pointed shoulders.

It is about as long as Robe 1, but it has a different detail. The detail is more bar looking then Robe 1, which has a more fancy look. The robe is a silver color as Robe 1.

3. The Belt: Not every Thranduil outfit has a belt, and this is one of the very few that does. It is a golden color, and long.

It has a gold/brown gem in the middle, which looks like it is the same shape as Thranduil's brooch.

4. The Arm Guards: The arm guards are a softer fabric then the metal ones that he wears in The Hobbit: Battle of the Fives Armies.

The beautiful design goes well with the outfit, a fancy, kingly detail.

5. The Crown and Accessories: The crown and accessories are the same as Outfit One.

Well, there you are! I hope you enjoyed it!

The Wardrobe: Thranduil, Outfit Three

Howdy ya'll!!
I'm so glad that ya'll have been enjoying my newest label, The Wardrobe.
Here is Thranduil's Outfit Three!
Enjoy!

Okay, so Outfit Three is another one of my favorite outfits that Mr. Lee wore in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. (Outfit One is my favorite.)

1. Robe 1: The blood red robe that Thranduil wears looks very comfortable, and easy to fight in, though you never see him fight in it.

It has long, loose sleeves, (but not has long as the sleeves as Outfit Two.)

They fit over nicely the robe that he wears under it. It also has a long train, which is one of his trademarks as the King of Mirkwood.

2. Robe 2: Under the red robe, Thranduil wears a shorter version of the Outfit One robe. It is of a silver/green color, and has long sleeves.

It has the same high collar, and the same design. But the only difference is that the hem of the robe comes to about his knees, probably at the top of his knee-high boots.

3. The Accessories: The accessories are the same as Outfit One.

4. The Sword: The sword that was made for Mr. Lee was made out of one, long block of iron. It's details are very beautiful, and you get to see him use it in The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. (He actually uses two of the same sword in this movie. But in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, he's only using one.)

5. The Staff: Thranduil only really has his staff in one scene, and that is when you first see glimpses of him in Mirkwood with Outfit One.

You don't actually see him with the staff in this outfit, but it does look great with it.

Well, I hoped ya'll enjoyed, and if so, please leave a comment below!

The Wardrobe: Thranduil, Outfit Two

Hey, ya'll! I'm doing another Wardrobe post! I hope ya'll enjoyed my first one about Thranduil's Outfit One. Now, I'm doing his Outfit Two!
Hope ya'll enjoy!

Outfit Two is not as detailed as Outfit One, but it does look comfortable.  Mr. Pace wore this outfit in the scene, (The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug) with Tauriel, when his line goes, "Do not give him hope when there is none" It looks like the robe that Thranduil is wearing over another, shorter robe, is supposed to be an over robe, but, who knows!

1. The Robe: The robe looks like its detail is to represent tree bark. The sleeves of the robe are VERY long, and loose for comfort. It is of a silvery grey color, with black spots all over for detail.

The robe also has a long train, which is another one of Thranduil's trademarks.

2. The Hair: Thranduil's hair is a white-blond color, and he always has it styled very interestingly comfortable, slicked back on the top, with strains of hair, in front on either side of his ear. In this outfit, he is not wearing his crown, which makes more sense for the robe to be a dressing gown, as he is not wearing very crazy things.

3. The Rings: The rings that he is wearing are the same rings that he wears in Outfit One.

Well, there you are. A shorter post, but a comfortable one though. I hope you enjoyed. If so, please leave a comment below!

The Wardrobe: Thranduil, Outfit One

Hey, ya'll! I've decided that I'm doing a group of posts about my favorite costume wardrobes from my favorite movies. I hope ya'll enjoy!

First off, for Outfit One, Lee Pace wore an amazing robe outfit in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.

1. The Robe: The robe is a silvery/green color, probably made that way to show that he is the King of the Woodland Realm, and it imitates the bark of the trees.

I like how the collar is large and open near the neck, then is closed all the way down to the beginning of his leggings. The train of the robe is amazingly long.

I love the beautiful design that the robe has, also imitating the bark of the trees. It is very unique, and creative.

2. The Leggings: The leggings look like they are either a dark brownish black, or just black. They are hard to tell, because they only peek out when he walks, and this is really the only time that you see the color of his leggings.

They are not quite as tight as leggings are usually; they have a bit of a loose hold, to allow Mr. Pace to walk easily without being uncomfortable. I believe that they are long leggings, but you can't tell because of his knee-high boots.

3. The Boots. Thranduil's boots are knee length, and look very comfortable. I believe that they were easy to walk in, since he wore them with every other outfit.

The boots are made of a black material, probably leather, (as usual), and are loosely fitted to his leg for comfort. I love how it has two layers!

4. The Accessories: Mr. Pace had amazing accessories for his outfits. They added great taste to the colors.
First, is the brooch. It is of a beautiful silver, and designed, what looks like, the horns of his pet elk.

The jewel is a golden/light brown color, and is a teardrop shape. The horns around it is a silvery white color.

The rings are next. Mr. Pace had four rings on his fingers! WOW!!

The rings that Thranduil had moved to different places in these pictures. I guess Mr. Jackson wanted them switched around, to make it more sensible to wear. The 1. hand has three rings on it, while the hand in the background only had one. But, it looks like it moved to the ring finger of hand 4. (ring finger on the lower hand. Background hand on 1.)
Then, the ring on hand 1. (gold one) moved to the ring finger of upper hand 4.
The background hand's ring on 1. moved to index finger (lower hand) 4.
And the famous, giant ring on hand 1. moved to the index finger of upper hand 4.
(One Big Switch!!! My Goodness!!!)

Well, I guess it doesn't matter where you put the rings, just as long as they are comfortable.

5. The Crown: Thranduil's crown is mostly his trademark. It is to look like twigs and leaves, another indication that he is the King of Mirkwood.

The twigs, or roots, (either way) is painted a light brown, and red leaves are intwined all around. I love how the crown curls over his cheek, and the how tall the crown is. It frames his face in a kingly way.

Well, I hope you enjoyed Outfit One of Thranduil's amazing costumes in the Hobbit.
